Happy Friday! Are you ready for Valentine’s Day? How about the weekend?

We’ll start our weekly six links off with some Valentine’s Day decor above. I wouldn’t mind if my foyer looked like that all year round!

Have you noticed an abundance of neon lately? (I write this wearing a very neon pink shirt.) From clothing to home decor, it seems to be popping up here and there – and painting a door bright neon  is a fun way to incorporate it!

On the contrary, I’m also loving soft palettes lately – like this grey and light pink combination above. Which do you prefer?

If you love the combination of tomato soup and grilled cheese, check out this awesome recipe. I made it this week and it was delicious!!

Check out these modular soft blocks that are modeled after traditional concrete blocks and can be used to create various pieces of furniture.

Materials: IKEA lampshade in suitable size, fishingline, stiff fabrick and gluegun Description: I used a lampshade that I found good in size, removed all of the fabric and used the metal base of the shade. The flowers were cut out of the fabric in two different sizes.

UK-based designer Samuel Wilkinson launched his Hoof tables at the Stockholm Furniture Fair this week. The tables are named Hoof because of the design of the feet, which resemble hooves (or also sharpened pencils). Samuel explains, “I have always loved painted wooden chairs that have the end of the legs left as natural wood so that the paint doesn’t chip off from being either kicked or knocked when cleaning

Kartell is bringing back its 4801 chair designed by Joe Colombo, first manufactured in 1965. The curvy, low-slung piece is the only chair the company ever produced in wood. To mark its 60th anniversary, Kartell is re-issuing it, this time in plastic, just as Columbo originally specified it.
