I missed this Inception Chair by Vivian Chiu because it was being exhibited in Noho during ICFF. It was a big regret of mine being unable to get to Noho to check out the great installations. The Inception Chair is a chair within a chair within a chair, and so on until no more chairs will fit inside.

Warm Cherry Finish Contemporary Bedroom w/Optional Items

Materials: Rast, wood, white paint Description: I needed a lot of drawers and the Ikea Rast was the only piece of furniture I could find with the right depth to fit my wall. Then I simply assembled 4 Ikea Rast all together. Placed 2 normally and 2 bottom-up. (reversing it is the hardest part of all, you have to make new holes to put the drawers’ guides…) Put real wood on the back and in the drawers to make them less “cheap”. Painted all in white.

Although the origination of silhouette artwork dates back to the 18th century, it is still abundant in modern forms. To prove this traditional form of art can be modernized (and because I just love silhouettes) I scoured Etsy for a round-up of my favorites.

The Pebble Collection by Karim Rashid for 3M includes a Post-it dispenser and Scotch tape dispenser. The pieces are available in purple, white, and black, and resemble smooth stones. Ergonomically designed for easy one-handed access, the dispensers are a new direction for the Scotch tape and Post-It manufacturer. I’m excited to see what else they decide to add in the future.
