The 3:1 Table is a geometric set of nesting tables. It can be used as one cube table or three separate side tables.

The three side tables have interesting dimensions that intersect with one another.

Made of matte powder-coated aluminum, each piece within the 3:1 Table is a different color.

The 3:1 Table is designed by TJOKEEFE in Chicago, Illinois and produced in the United States.

One of my faves this year from ICFF was Crafted: the Urbancase and Teroforma collaboration. The collaboration includes a selection of beautiful barware and two well-crafted liquor cabinets that complement one another. Even though they operate on separate coasts, seeing these two companies work together isn’t a surprise because each is so dedicated to high-quality craftsmanship

Svitato by Andrea Vecera for torino lab is a clothes hanger that looks something like an alien, or — to me — a holder for those popular oil incense sticks. The mold is made of cement and features nine threaded broomsticks plunged into its surface. The Fractal.MGX is a modern coffee table that represents the fractal growth patterns of trees.

The design of the Fractal.MGX is tree-like stems that grow into smaller branches, which eventually mold into each other to create the table top.

The Fractal.MGX is made as a single piece without any seams or joints. It is made using a stereo-lithography and epoxy resin.

Designed by Platform Studio and Matthias Bar,  the Fractal.MGX is on display at the Metropolitan Musuem of New York and the Design Hub Barcelona.

Skin Collection is a series of furniture covered in leather remnants. Pepe Heykoop used what was leftover from leather furniture companies to cover chairs. Similar to our random skin patterns and cell growth in nature, the leather scraps are pieced together to make unique pieces. The collection will be exhibited at DMY Berlin in June. Last year, Studio Dunn won best new designer at ICFF and this year, they introduced a brand new collection. Called The Heiress Collection, it is named after heiresses of Rhode Island (the state that Studio Dunn calls home) — the Tessie Chair, Doris Dining Table, Alletta Mirror, and the Gloria Side Table. Combining rich quality materials and traditional construction techniques, the collection brings together American heritage with luxury. The lights have yet to be photographed so I snapped a (poor) photo in their booth. Check out our Designer Dailies with Asher Dunn of Studio Dunn

The Heiress Collection by Studio Dunn

Konnex is an innovative shelving system designed by Florian Gloss.

Each set of Konnex includes three basic modules in small, medium and large sizes. Each piece has slits that can be inserted into the side walls of the other cubes to create different arrangements.

Multiple sets of varying sizes can be pieced together to continuously expand on the Konnex shelving unit.

Konnex is in production by Müller Möbelwerkstätten. Designer Florian Gloss is an interior and product designer based out of Germany.
