The tlf08 chair by Tobias Labarque is made of beams of Padauk wood, assembled into the form of a lounge chair. The corners of each beam have been rounded off to provide comfort, and the tree rings are shown in plain view so that you can see the tree’s structure. This is due to designer Pepe Heykoop’s collaboration with The Tiny Miracles Foundation. The Leather Lampshades are designed by 20 mothers living in Mumbai, India. Every Lampshade that is sold brings a donation of one month’s fees to a private English school so that the daughters of the 20 mothers can attend. Isn’t that inspirational?

Each of the Leather Lampshades are made from soft lambskin. Their shape is designed to replicate old industrial lamps. As seen in the two images, they are available in two different styles: vertical and horizontal.

Materials: Ikea table, and stackable Ikea shelves. Description: I was originally looking for a monitor stand for my iMac . My intent was to lift my iMac slightly off the desk so I could have just enough space for a keyboard, my laptop, or some papers. Another feature I was looking for was some front facing USB ports, since all iMacs have the USB ports on the rear of the monitor – makes using a USB hub almost a necessity. Upon browsing online it seemed like a decent monitor stand for my iMac was going to run me $60 – $80 for the bare minimum that I was looking for.

Aleksandra (Sasha) Gantseva Dasha Gantseva are SashaDasha Design , a Russian pair of young, creative designers who have created a collection called Maps that was made by Jaime Hayon Studio. The designers explain that the project is an interpretation of modern cities using the map as a pattern. After creative investigation, the designers chose specific areas of each city and applied them to different materials. They explain each piece below

Viya Home is a new collection of home furnishings from India for The Stephanie Odegard Collection recently launched by Stephanie Odegard and Vikram Goyal. It’s a little off my beaten path but I find myself really into all things gold and brass these days (I blame Kelly Wearstler ) so I chose to share some of their brass and gold pieces although they have a variety of finishes available.
