Strip Ease

While the name may sound a bit scandalous, the Strip Ease itself is quite wholesome. The name comes from the single strip of recycled steel that the Strip Ease is made of. Designed by Italian architects Mark Lana and Alberto Savettiere of Lana + Savettiere, the Strip Ease is a piece of multifunctional furniture meant for the outdoors.

The Strip Ease can be used in four different ways: bicycle rack, garbage can, bench, and vase.

What would you use the Strip Ease for?

Rock the Rock Lamp

Does your lighting have you in between a rock and a hard place? The Rock Lamp from Diesel with Foscarini is a contemporary lamp that will brighten your spirits, and your decor.

Available in a pendant or floor lamp, the Rock has unique facets on its outer shell as well as the bottom of the lamp, where the light shines through. Available in black or white lacquered polycarbonate, the Rock lamp reflects a strong light, despite its interesting nooks and crannies.

The Rock Lamp is part of the Successful Living Collection, a collaboration between Diesel (the clothing company!) and Foscarini, an Italian lighting company. The goal of the Successful Living Collection is to capture the Diesel lifestyle: “Ironic, unconventional, fun, fiery and creative.”

The phrases on the glass are “Always look on the bright side of life,” You can’t have light without darkness,” and “In the right light, at the right time, everything is extraordinary” — messages that share the theme of optimism that underlies Artecnica’s newest collection
