The Flos Soft Architecture Wall Piercing lights caught my eye on Stylepark and I can only imagine the possibilities of this type of lamp. You can create some very artistic and creative patterns using a grouping of these simple ring lights. Also on the Soft Arch site and worth noting is the Boobs light : “we can shape your wildest dreams.” © 2010 Design Milk | Posted by Jaime in Home Furnishings | Permalink | No comments | Tweet This | Share on Facebook

For those you love, you sit in a loveseat. For those you just like, here’s the LikeSeat.
Designed by L John Andrew, the LikeSeat is an outdoor seat with a modern steel base. The seat is constructed of hundreds of washers that L John Andrew welded together. Such a common household item is glamorized into a beautiful outdoor LikeSeat! To me, they look like beautiful enlarged sequins.
Do you love the LikeSeat?

Oh, yes, this bed from Lago caught my eye earlier this week and I’m in LUV. The bed features adjustable sides that can act as a headboard, bed cover when guests are over, or even create a cave-like feeling when you’re lying in bed. I also love the nightstands that look like they’ve been unzipped

If there was a spectrum of tattoo-inspired designs, Ed Hardy would be on one and and Corita Rose on the other. Corita Rose is a British company that designs chairs, sofas, pillows, curtains and fabric all inspired by iconic, graphic designs that range in influence from the medieval to classic tattoo flash art. I like the vibrant colors and fun graphics — I think it could add a pop of fun into any room…maybe starting with just a pillow? Planing your interior and color combinations pay attention to your windows. Hire curtains designer to get the best from modern fabrics.

Named after the technical term for cone, the Strobilus Lamp is inspired by the natural look of an open pine cone. Designed by product designer Jonathon Coles for British architectural lighting company Paviom, the premise for the Strobilus was for it to be recyclable with high efficiency and low energy.
Using paper pulp, a material typically used in packaging, the Strobilus was constructed using the same process as commercial lighting, without taking away from the sustainability of the overall lamp. The paper pulp enables the Strobilus to be 95% recyclable.
What do you think of the Strobilus?

Located in Pasadena, California, this spectacular renovation and remodel of the Thompson Mosley house by Space International makes me want to pack up tomorrow and head back to California. This house is my ultimate dream house. I even love the backyard pool, surrounded by simple concrete. It’s exquisite.

Called the Fresh Air collection , these new chairs from Richard Schultz remind me of ketchup and mustard (and pickles!). © 2010 Design Milk | Posted by Jaime in Home Furnishings | Permalink | No comments | Tweet This | Share on Facebook
