Why are we obsessed with the Obsession Series by Kwangho Lee?
Because its made out of gardening hoses!
Following his motto “Ordinary objects can become something else,” Kwangho Lee leaves us wanting more. But no worries. Using just hoses and PVC tube, the South Korean designer has created an entire collection of chairs, sofas, coffee tables and more by weaving the hose together.

You see the process of how one braid turns into a sofa here.

Materials: 2 Hyllis shelving units, a good screwdriver Description: The Hyllis is a nice piece of furniture to begin with, in my opinion, despite the awful name.Simple, honest metal and a few screws. Lovely. Also, the Hyllis is embarrasingly cheap. The idea is simple – stock to units on top of each other. Save space, get a cooler looking piece of furniture

Dave Hakkens has created Breaksoap , a new soap concept that removes hand pumps from the equation. Dave explains, “Most of the hand soap is replaced by soap pumps. However a lot of the soap pumps contain a lot of chemicals. The main reason why the hand pump was introduced is because it’s more hygienic and easier to use

The Pixa 1 table by Martin Schmitz of Hellauf is a simple white table, nothing exciting until — you look closely at its legs. The legs are made up of rotating squares that you can move in all kinds of directions for a fun, pixelated look. via Stilsucht © 2010 Design Milk | Posted by Jaime in Home Furnishings | Permalink | No comments | Tweet This | Share on Facebook

Because yesterday we posted a chair (that looks like) it has one leg, it seemed only appropriate to showcase the Two Leg Table today! Designed by Shay Carmon and Ben Klinger, the Two Leg Table is made with an oak base that supports a Corian top.
The two legs are arranged in such a way, with an extended piece on each leg, that enable them to support each other while simultaneously supported the Corian table top. Using strong materials such as the oak and Corian were necessary in making the balance possible.
How about a seat at the Two Leg Table with the one-legged illusion of the Magica Chair?!

Designed by Italian designer Davide Conti, the Magica and Magica 2 Chair appear to be magically standing on one leg. The Magica, the black chair, is designed to appear that it receives support from the back of the chair that extends down while the Magica 2, the white chair, zig-zags to theoretically gain support from the front of the chair. However, there are two transparent plexiglass pieces on each side of the chairs that sturdily support the body and make it usable.
Although the Magica Chairs are still in the conceptual phase, they would be a great way to fool friends at home or guests and passersby in restaurants and hotels.
Here’s a better look at the transparent plexiglass on each chair:

What do you think about the Magica Chairs? Would you be comfortable sitting in them?

Modern wicker often seems like an oxymoron to me, but every once in a while I come across a wicker piece or two worthy of hanging out on a patio with some Bertoia or butterfly chairs. The Mono Chair is a wicker side chair in Beckham & Issa’s Lloyd Loom Collection. Beckham & Issa was formed by Nancy Beckham and Jane Issa, two hotel entrepreneurs, and their Lloyd Loom collection focuses on the Lloyd Loom process . This process was invented in 1917 by the American Marshall B.
