We have a clue about Furniture

The Roulade is my design find today, and I think it’s a really great one. In what I can best describe as Togo meets Chesterfield, this piece combines multiple styles and influences into one captivating and intriguing piece. It’s the work of Kilo Design, a Copenhagen based, idea-driven industrial design firm.

There’s not too much information available about the Roulade yet, but these images are enough to have me already wanting one (at least!) for myself.

When fairy tale meets furniture, this is what results! Cinderella’s Chair by Anna Ter Haar is a project in which regular chairs are fitted with custom blown glass, like their very own glass slippers (or glass prosthetic legs). Berry Color Top Grain Leather Comfortable Reclining Living Room

This table is the work of ABGC Architecture & Design for new ad agency Boys and Girls.  The design firm was asked to create something “playful but not juvenile” and this captivating table is the result.

Legos are a definite wow factor in this office, if only for the reason of complete unexpectedness. This is certainly not your typical boardroom, but my guess is that it certainly isn’t hurting the creative process.  The pieces are covered with glass so there’s no building Lego castles during staff meetings, but nonetheless a pretty cool table.

This new wall covering called Change It comes from designer Amirkhan Abdurakhmanov. As its name implies, it may take on many forms. So how does it work? It is actually made of turn-triangles, each of which has a white side, black side, and unique rainbow shade. Turn them to create your own masterpiece. You can even write words, leave messages, or test out your art skills! Cool, right? Even when all the triangles are facing the same way, Change It still makes a pretty bold style statement.

These unique pieces of urban furniture by Alexandre Moronnoz are made using metal and timber. This chair by designers Daisuke Nagatomo and Minnie Jan of Miso Soup Design is constructed out of eco-resin and CNC router.
