Cherry Entertainment Wall Unit with Sliding Doors & Lighted Piers

This is a wall entertainment unit that is unique in design. Its semicircular shape is an eye catcher. The rich brown color of the unit and the design on the door panels break the monotony. The central unit will proudly host any sized widescreen TV. The shelves below can be used to house other home theater entertainment equipment. The lighted piers on the sides can be used to proudly display decorative items.
There are two sliding doors that shut easily. So when the home theater system if off the doors can be closed to display the side piers and when the doors are slid back the piers are enclosed. This wall unit has been carefully designed and built from top quality material.

RGB vases, by Oscar Diaz, will be exhibited as part of “Eyes on Spanish Design”, an exhibition about emerging Spanish designers. Organised by the ICEX together with the DDI, the exhibition will be taking place at 100% Design during the London Design Festival next September. The RGB vases combine the excellence of a process like glass blowing, refined through more than two thousand years, with references to the contemporary culture, were screens are extremely common, and its colors, based on the RGB color system. The vase works as a three dimensional pixel were the RGB colors overlap to create a specific color which appears only once the vases are nested. Each vase is made using the values of red, green and blue that make up the specific purple color (P242).

So as cool as it might be, it’s kind of impractical to have a tree inside. Fear not though, you can still enjoy perfectly cleaned air with the Air Tree. From designer Seung Jun Jeong, this modern “tree” cleans your air via a HEPA filter.  It sucks the air in, removes all of its impurities, and releases the refreshed air out from its top.  Definitely a good use paired with a modern look that almost makes it double as a sculpture. Throw in some cool LED lights and I’m sold.

Aissa Logero’s Extensions project is put together by notches and string. This project questions contemporary furniture design, from the concept of multipurpose use and uncertain quality (due to rationalized industrial production), to the ambition or desire for durability. Products are envisaged in a non-fixed state, to be extended or lengthened, according to uses which vary and evolve over time.
