I spotted this RowRow serving set over on HolyCool and thought it was just the cutest thing! It could easily cause a rendition of “Row Row Row Your Boat” to break out at your next family dinner. © 2010 Design Milk | Posted by Jaime in Home Furnishings | Permalink | No comments | Tweet This | Share on Facebook

The Breed Retreat designed by Frederik Roijé is an architectural hen house for those of you who are obsessing over chickens lately. I know I’ve seen quite a few cool chicken coops around the interwebs. © 2010 Design Milk | Posted by Jaime in Architecture , Home Furnishings | Permalink | No comments | Tweet This | Share on Facebook

Designed by French furniture designer

Cedric Dequidt, the Vice Versa table and bench are made of lacquered steel. Both the table and bench are available in a variety of colors.
The design of the Vice Versa bench and table is explained as the base of the table is
formed by horizontal symmetry.
What do you think of the Vice Versa table? Would you incorporate this as your kitchen or dining table, or do you prefer something more traditional?

BoConcept’s 2011 collection is here and I fell for the Rock Chair , a re-release that’s a mixture of high design and humor. The buttons look like eyes while the shape of the seat curves like a smile. Designer Henrik Pedersen explains that this “anything goes” chair is made for rocking — relaxation and coziness in one. The Rock chair is delivered assembled with stainless steel tubular legs and is available in the entire BoConcept fabric and leather collection, which consists of over 80 different options.

While relaxing in the Mussel Chair.
Designed by Hanne Kortegaard as a graduation project for the Danish Design School, the Mussel Chair is a diverse modern chair. Kortegaard explains on the Danish Design School website that she wanted the Mussel Chair to cater to both children and adults.
Thus, the Mussel Chair can be used as a chaise lounge, as a chair with armrests or a side table. The armrest can also be reversed and used as a stool or a headrest.
