Neelnox is a company that offers stainless steel mosaic tiles in just about any imaginable pattern you can think of from subway backsplash tiles to floor tiles to decorative accent borders. Their line of decorative wood borders with stainless steel inlay was one of the highlights of my trip to ICFF. Seeing them in person, they looked to be of very good quality, too

I’ve seen some unique rugs in my day, but this sure has to be one of the most original. The Shoelace Rug is indeed made from shoelaces, and is the work of Nate Siverstein and Andrea Paustenbaugh. It certainly adds a unique focal point to the room and you’re sure to be the only one of your friends to have it. Maybe a bit much for a living room, but I think it could look cool under a desk in a modern office or perhaps in a small dining nook.
That dog sure looks cozy, but it might make your cats a bit crazy!

The Halley has several different options including: floor-to-floor, floor-to-wall and floor-to-clamp options. You can mount it to the wall, clamp it to a table or just arch it from the floor. The bases can also be combined for another interesting arrangement.
For convenient storage, each piece can easily be taken apart. Although it is waterproof, the Halley also comes with its own carrying case.

The 2011 IKEA catalog is out now, and there are a few pieces that I like in particular. IKEA does such a great job of getting their catalog out early, and getting all of their products available online before they release it. Above, the VIKA VEINE top (white or black-brown) and VIKA MOLIDEN legs combo is pretty sweet. I love that you can fold the top down and hide your mess away.
