The innovative line stands out from the rest with its modern and artistic take on your standard, everyday pieces like tables and shelves. Founded in 2006, this company also does interior design on top of their wide range of product ideas. You might remember that we featured Zift Design before but take a look at some of their newer pieces we thought were worthy of showing: Renk (first image also) is their newest piece of furniture that was designed specifically for an exhibition.

You fold it up yourself and because it’s made from thick paper paired with a vinyl tube for water, you can use it like a real vase. The fun part is that since it’s made from paper, you can write a nice note on the front – maybe to someone special? Materials: ÄPPLARÖ Description: Materials: Ikea ÄPPLARÖ wall panel Description: I looked and looked for a simple headboard for my queen size metal bed frame (the typical kind with four casters and holes for attaching a headboard and footboard), but couldn’t find a suitable one anywhere. After finding the Ikea Hackers website, I decided that I’d be creative and “hack” myself a headboard. My requirements were these: – It had to be lightweight and easily moveable (I rent and I like to move my furniture around). – It had to be affordable (I set myself a budget of no more than 99 dollars). – It had to be around 62-63 inches wide (to properly fit the width of the queen bed frame).

When you sit at a desk all day, in front of a computer, it’s important to stay comfortable and healthy.
While I would love to sit in a chic lucite chair with a shaggy mongolian lamb throw draped over the back all day long, we all know that wouldn’t do my back or my posture any sort of justice.
I’m finding there a comes a point in time where you must sacrifice what you want for what you need and go for computer chairs and office chairs that are more suitable for spending hours on end sitting upright. Luckily, these chairs are available in brightly colored fabrics to liven up your office space while keeping your body in line.
So I can save those lucite chairs for my dining table and get myself a cozy, colorful office chair to stay comfortable and productive. Good plan, don’t you think?

Sometimes I just can’t help but develop a mad crush on pieces of furniture, objects, or just brands in general. foureyes furniture is one that falls in that category. Each piece is made by hand in the US (California represent!) by the owner/designer C. Sevin Salomone. When he and his wife moved in together, they realized they couldn’t afford the furniture they liked (I know the feeling!) so they took matters into their own hands and launched foureyes.

Materials: Expedit TV Stand, Bjursta, 5″ corner braces, VESA swivel mounts, Custom Vinyl Subway Art Description: My apartment has a strange living area layout (almost pentagonal), and, being one to need my separate spaces, I wanted to create a conventional rectangular living room with a functional triangular office space. Ikea to the rescue! Given that my apartment is only 650 sq.ft and has a monstrous bedroom and walk-in closet, I needed multi-functional furniture.
