Sven Stornebel is a German designer who was brought up around art. Starting out as a cabinet maker, he eventually became an interior designer and artist, realizing his dream of creating quality artistic home furnishings. Ehrenfelder Küche, designed by Oliver Schübbe and Sven Stornebel, is a modular kitchen that can be arranged in a variety of configurations. Ghost is a series of pieces made from picture frames collected from flea-markets became cabinet doors and adorned with graphics and artwork by Sarah Schlau.

Light Cappuccino Finish Modern Platform Bed w/Optional Casegoods

Designed by Seppo Koho for Secto Design, the Octo 4240 is a modern, eco-friendly pendant lamp.
The Octo pendants are made from PEFC-certified Finnish birch, cut into slats that are connected by rings of plywood.
Each Octo pendant is 68 cm high, with a diameter of 54 cm. Octo is available in natural birch, black laminate or white laminate. The black has a matching black cord and both the white and birch have a white cord.
To continue with the eco-friendly aspect of the Octo, energy-saving light bulbs are recommended.

This series of plates by Nir Meiri are made from two basic materials: concrete and wood. I think that the feet look like ballerina toes, delicately balancing the treats. This project is currently on exhibit in the Mishkan gallery in Holon, Israel.

Ventilation in the kitchen is a functional requirement and I’ve noticed a rise in the number of modern, innovative kitchen range hoods on the market. Here’s a few that have recently caught my eye: Zephyr Hoods by Robert Brunner, who formerly worked in design for Apple — can you spot the Mac-inspired design? In addition, this guys gets around, having designed the HeartBeats by Lady Gaga headphones as part of the Beats by Dr. Dre line

Brighten up your days with flowers in your calendar. As both are common household items, they aren’t so common together.
Designed by the Jin-woog Koo of the NOTHING dESIGN Group, the Calendar with Vase is a paper calendar with a polyurethane vase in the center, available in yellow or white. About the vase, NOTHING dESIGN Group says “We know that putting flowers on calendar can change atmosphere in the house dramatically.”
The NOTHING dESIGN Group is a design group based out of Korea.
