The Nub collection , designed by Patricia Urquiola for Andreu World America , actually caught my eye in the NeoCon advertisement on my own website! I love the playful spindles in the back that remind me of musical notes. I absolutely love the Cherries Lamp series by Nika Zupanc . In her work, Nika reinterprets everyday objects as she thematizes the role of women in the predominantly masculine world of design.

Nu is a foldable floor or table lamp designed by Ilanel Design Studio inspired by the contemporary Japanese dance “Butoh.” Its four “limbs” move together as separate entities but also as one piece as you move them into different positions. Jim Schatz sent over a link to his new colorful hummingbird feeders . Design savvy bird lovers will enjoy these floral-inspired feeders, as will the hummingbirds! Handcrafted in durable stoneware and available in six vibrant colors, each bird feeder holds 1 1/2 cups of nectar (1 part sugar dissolved in 4 parts water). The hanging wire is also rust resistant.
