Anthony Dickens ’ travels as well as the Japanese Cochin paper lantern inspired the Tekio lighting system. Tekio is the Japanese word for “adaptation,” and that perfectly reflects the new lighting that he designed. The framed paper tubes can be bent and connected into any shape that you desire so your options are limitless. Each section easily unlocks to make bulb changing easy. The modular system is currently a prototype but will be available next year.

Materials: Expedit + dice (a lot of them) Description: Recently we decided to beef up our bland Ikea furniture a bit. The victim was an Expedit rack that we use as a hi-fi rack in our living room. I am a huge fan of pixel art and would cover my whole apartment in 8-bit if I could. Anyhow, as we wanted it to be something that is functional and nice to look at, we decided the only reasonable thing to do is to cover the whole rack with a curtain of dice

Although today’s Etsy Roundup looks like it’s one for the ladies, it works doubly as a gift guide for the guys out there in search of the perfect gift for the women in their lives.
The way I see it is that you can never have too many clutches in your wardrobe. I love clutches so much that I keep one in my purse at all times in case of emergencies. And by emergency I mean when I don’t feel like lugging my purse around. The best part about clutches is that the more you have, the more you can coordinate. Plus, most clutches are quite affordable so you won’t feel guilty about having too many!
Do you love clutches? How many do you own?

We’d buy Holly Berry ‘s Morse Code blankets for their bright colors, punchy pattern, and quality crafting. But when we found out that spell the word LOVE across them in Morse code, we absolutely had to have one. Fulo ‘s Constellation Table is basically a many-legged table, except that the placement of the lefts is determined by you. Place four legs in the corner, or take inspiration from the stars and create a constellation of legs. Can you imagine having this coffee table in your living room? It would instantly be the talk of any party, or even when someone stopped by for a quick visit.
Designed by Axel Yberg of Akke Functional Art, this structural modern coffee table, named the Reverse Dowry, was made as a gift for his mother-in-law. Reverse Dowry is made from oiled recycled ipe wood, stainless cable, aluminum and glass for the top. I think Akke Functional Art couldn’t be a more perfect name – because that’s exactly what it this table is – functional art!
In addition to the Reverse Dowry, Axel Yberg has recently added 13 new pieces to his website, which are even more awesome than this coffee table – if that was even possible!
Head over to his website to check them out – you won’t be disappointed!

Materials: VANVIK bed (full), SARALISA, MINNA, & DITTE yard fabric, cording for piping, velcro, sewing machine, electic staple gun, and hours of measuring, pinning, and sewing! Description: A few years ago, IKEA released the VANVIK bed frame featuring curved black metal legs, adorned by a slipcover featuring the LEABY black & white floral print that was originally introduced in the EKTORP slipcover. I immediately fell in love with this bed, and was fortunate enough to purchase the floor model at the end of it's existence in the IKEA range. Sadly this version is now discontinued, but its sister version in white with a tailored bed skirt is still available. The curved lines, and the metal feet were the qualities that initially attracted my liking to this piece of furniture.
