Piece Per Week is project initiated by Groupa Studio , a recently founded design collection run by Holon Academic Institute of Technology (Israel) graduates Shimshovitz, Yiffa Levin and Chen Guiterman. Piece Per Week is a 10 week marathon of fresh ideas, rummaging through drawers, sketches, experiments, materials, shapes, planning, executing, shooting, pricing and finally…the finished product, furniture or some other designed object, was published every Tuesday on their Facebook page . All items on Piece Per Week are for sale. This reminds me a bit of Dominic Wilcox’s speed creating project

Fascinated by the history of Viennese Silver, Thomas Feichtner created a fruit bowl for the renowned Wiener Silber Manufactur . Rather than opting for the traditional rounded bowl body, Feichtner chose to put the fruit on a pedestal. It appears as though the fruit might tumble down the sides where the legs have been formed, but instead it becomes wedged

The Hansen Family ‘s new Dining Table exists in three models that offer space for 6, 8 or 10 people. The solid tabletop of the Dining Table has two storage cubbies in which you can hide or present things. The colorful cubbies can be covered with plates that are made of solid wood on one side and slated on the other, so they can be used as trivets. I first spotted Czech Republic company Catworks on Moderncat . The designs are made in the shape of letters of the alphabet A, C, G, M, O, R, S and T and come in nine fun colors: beige, yellow, orange, red, green, blue, turquoise, gray, and brown. These would complement Roeland Otten’s ABChairs very nicely

Materials: Hemnes queen bed frame, Anno Sanela blind, pre-finished polystyrene molding, liquid nails, saw and miter box, and clamps Description: We bought the Hemnes bedroom furniture suite but recently started feeling tired of the baby crib-like bars at the top of the headboard, especially since that's all we could see of the headboard once all of the bed pillows were in place. We wanted to maintain the classic and clean lines of footboard and nightstands without adding a lot of weight or taking apart the bedframe. We found our solution with the Anno Sanela blind at Ikea, it was light, large enough to cover the headboard, stiff enough to hold its shape without wrinkling, and had a great seagrass texture that completed our bedding.
