While at ICFF, I walked by Christian Woo’s booth and then walked right back. What struck me first was the quality and craftsmanship of these pieces. I thought, “this guy must work with wood for a living.” And guess what? He does! Christian, a Vancouver-based furniture designer and woodworker, put together a collection of five distinctive pieces ranges from sleek low profile end tables, to filing cabinets and sideboards

A Domestic Schizophrenic Project

I discovered 45 Kilo via Rezodesign and couldn’t stop thinking about the options for their Jack in the Box light. It’s a thin teak and steel floor lamp lined with sockets for all your devices from lights to hair dryers to screw drivers. 45 Kilo is Philipp Schöpfer and Daniel Klapsing who met at Bauhaus-University Weimar and collaborate on furniture, interior, exposition and interior design and installations. Cho Hyung Suk says that he always thinks that chandeliers are too decorative or over-designed, so he created a casual, modern chandelier. His Semicircle Chandelier uses wood spheres to hide the electrical components.
