Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday! I’m traveling this week for the holiday, so instead of a Weekly Six, I’m bringing you some book picks. I have to admit, I’m a sucker for a good chick lit novel, but I do love a good memoir as well. What about you – what type of books do you gravitate towards?
Whether you’re also traveling or just enjoying a lazy day this holiday weekend, these are some books that have been on my Kindle wish list most recently.
1 – Gone Girl
2 – The Perks of Being a Wallflower
3 – Where We Belong
4 – Let’s Pretend This Never Happened
5 – Just Kids
What books are on your wish list or what have you read that you can recommend??

This chair makes me want to sing “I wanna rock right now” really loudly (from Rob Base’s song “ It Takes Two “) and I have the Zurich-based Micasa Lab to thank for that. They developed the iRock , a traditional looking rocking chair with the ability to charge your iPad (or iPhone) just by simply rocking back and forth. The chair has a dock that your iPad sits in so you can conveniently control the music you’re rocking out to, along with built-in speakers. The design, powered by a generator that converts the movement into power, makes it possible to listen and charge your Apple devices at the same time.

If you’ve stuffed a Christmas stocking in the last ten years, chances are you’ve used a product conceived by Knock Knock . You know them, those tongue-in-cheek sticky notes and pre-printed grocery list pads in perky colors. Berkeley, California native Jen Bilik, who founded the company in 2002, achieved her goal, which was to create witty, design-driven goodies.

We’ll take a break from all of the Thanksgiving talk and keep it a normal Wednesday with a colorful Product Pick. What you see above is the Nodo Collection of Tables by Pentagono Estudio.
The tables are made from fiberglass fibers that are interwoven together in a specific way that provides balance for the table to stand on its own. The second picture gives a nice upclose and personal look into this detail.
The photos and information on these tables were found on Design Milk, and there is no mention of other colors being available. I wouldn’t mind the fluorescent yellow though – would you?
